Support without a wire
A bonded underband carries the weight that a wire normally would, so nothing digs in along the ribcage, and there are no seams to print through a t-shirt. Seamless, and soft enough to sleep in
There is no wire and no moulded cup edge, so nothing prints through a fitted top and there is no ridge across the back or under the arm. The same bra doubles as a sleep bra on nights when you want light coverage without pressure on the ribcage, which is often the week before a period.
Why this matters during your period
In the week before a period, hormonal fluid retention makes breast tissue swell for many people, and a rigid wire cannot flex with a shape that has temporarily changed. Measure your underbust and bust at home; it takes about two minutes, and the step-by-step guide includes a cup size chart in both centimetres and inches, plus Asian and US conversions (70B is 32B, for example). Because wireless cups are more forgiving than wired ones, most people land comfortably in a single size rather than between two.
